Verify Your Screen Enclosure Contractor's Florida License and Permits
Florida licenses screen enclosure construction. The on-point credential is the Structural Aluminum or Screen Enclosures Specialty Contractor license, a Chapter 489 specialty defined by Rule 61G4-15.100 of the Florida Administrative Code. Its scope expressly covers aluminum screened porches, screen enclosures, pool enclosures, and rescreening. A certified or registered General, Building, or Residential contractor also qualifies within that broader scope under Section 489.105(3), Florida Statutes.
